The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso is one of the best marathons in the world. It takes place every year on the first Sunday of December. It holds the IAAF platinum label and features an extraordinarily flat route from start to finish, with an iconic start and finish at the City of Arts and Sciences.

Currently, it is the third-fastest marathon in the men’s category and the second-fastest in the women’s category. The conditions of its course contribute to breaking national and continental records by a decade each year.
